I just recieved my MSI MPower and my 4770k, and am looking at an aftermarket heatsink for obvious reasons :D BUT does the V8 cooler support socket1150? I really like not only the cooling power of the V8 but the looks are awesome as well :comp:

Thoughts?

The V8 is a rather midrange heatsink, somewhere in between, say, a Hyper212 Evo and a NZXT Havik 140. Haswell runs HOT, if you're buying new I would advise to get something heftier.

All LGA115x sockets have the same mounting holes.

I am definitely open to suggestions, i am in the $40-$50 price range at the moment, i spent most of my extra cash on haswell, so i need to not break the bank with cooling at the moment. I do have a HAF X case with 4 240mm fans, so case airflow is certainly not an issue :)
