isn't flashing the v2 with the v1 bios end up with a bios that can't be flashed again?
 
hopefully someone will comfirm.. if i can go back to a v2 bios at anytime then i might try to use the v1 since it seems to be better..
 
here's my first OC, cpu undervolted, all mobo stock voltages set to normal manually
1.12 load (cpuz)
3660mhz
ddr3 1464 7-7-7-16 1T
no turbo BS, this is all 4 cores HT ON

I got 20 linx loops too but i cant post it cuz of booby/nippage

so why even overclock this chip if its only going into a HTPC?

You will never even push the stock ability of the chip.

haha. Si senor! This is actually a home theatre/big screen GAMING pc as well. It is connected to a marantz receiver, external 3 channel Emotiva 1000 watt 4ohm amp and a beautiful new Sony XBR flatscreen. This is all driven through a monster audio HDMI cable (1080p video/7.1 dolby digital/dts audio) from the back of the 4870x2 GPU. It is a beautiful rig indeed and I plan on using it A LOT more than my QX9650 test rig, or my other productivity rigs.
