Hello,

I recently build a new pc and was planning to use my 2 years old Corsair H115i (used about 10 hours in 2 years):

https://geizhals.at/corsair-hydro-series-h115i-cw-9060027-ww-a1376680.html

System:
Asus B-550 plus
Ryzen 3600
Fractal Design Meshify

The cooling power was very bad:

CPU block mounted, both tubes down
radiator at the top
Prim95: 75 - 85 0 - 5min
85 - 100 ~7min
water temperatur ~32 always
nearly no effect on fan pwm
pump at max (pump speed does change temp drastic)

----------

CPU block, both tubes to the right
radiator at the top or front (tubes down)
Prim95: 65 - 75 0 - 5min
75 - 90 ~7min
water temperatur ~32 - 36
nearly no effect on fan pwm
pump at max (pump speed does change temp drastic)

-----------

Corsair H60 about 5-7 years old, uptime since i bought it:
https://geizhals.eu/corsair-hydro-series-h60-2nd-gen-cw-9060007-ww-a875898.html?hloc=de&hloc=at

CPU block mounted, both tubes down
radiator at the top
Prim95: 55 - 65 0 - 5min
65 - 75 ~10min and stays there
water temperatur NA
pwm effects temp radical

first i was thinking that the H115i doesnt have enough mounting pressure, i checkd it couple times. it was mounted correctly.
the H115i was used on a threadripper 1950X and it was preforming quit ok, i had the feeling it was just not a very good cooler.

Is there something im missing, or is the H115i just a crappy cooler?
how can a 5~ year old cooler outpreform this huge much newer cooler.

10 hr. in two years! I would suspect algae buildup that may be clogging the radiator.

I dont know, i did some research to this model, and some people had similar issues. i think it has something to do with the cpu bracket, must be a reasy why corsair made all new ones similar to the h60.
i did rma and im getting the new one now.
