Can overclocking your cpu have an affect on your gpu because on big maps on bf3 in caspian border i get loads of hash and artifacts and it freezez the screen

If the CPU is bottle-necking the system when you play games then it could cause choppiness and stuttering but shouldn't cause artifacts. Is your GPU overclocked? Artifacts can be cause by a GPU that is overclocked too far or is getting overheated.

Out of ideas. Do you have another video card you could install to see if it's a problem with the PCI-e subsystem? Or you could check that out as well with the onboard video, even though the frame rate would be crappy.

Switching PCI-e ports might be a good idea. If you have GPU-z installed, is it reading your card correctly? Might be a dying GPU?

When you say you have "tried loads of drivers" how did you install CCC? Just over the old version? Uninstalled and then re-installed? Or did you uninstall, restart in safe mode and use a program like drive sweeper to erase any lingering files left over?

Its nvidia contole panel mate i have a gtx 670 il try uninstalling drivers in safe mode
