CPU upgrade for HM76 Socket 988B rPGA (Medion e6228)

Hello everyone. I have a big problem and I hope you can help me...
I have the board from the title (pictures attached) and it has an i3 2350 from the factory. I planned to upgrade and bought an i7 2720QM and inserted it, however, the laptop does not respond. It cannot even turn on, it does not show signs of life. returned the i3 processor and everything works normally. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it the BIOS version or the difference in TDP? I took that processor because I saw that it was on the supported list for my board.

Nowhere on the internet I can't find a newer but verified version of the BIOS for the motherboard...

I'd imagine it's the bios version IF that board supports the new cpu in the first place.. You should see a cpu support list for that laptop at its webpage..

I mean you should see a list of supported CPUs at the laptop's website.... which is also where you should be able to find the latest BIOS for it as well.

Unfortunatly....i didnt find it....probably old model and now i cant update

Yeah... those are some old specs... and incredibly slow compared to today's processors. Maybe it's time that finds the recycle bin instead if it's not good enough.

Well i must tell that Medion support sent me link and motherboard BIOS from late 2014 that is all they got.
Now i cant run it from BIOS and usb.I cant run with Admin privilegy,what should i do?Here is picture of files i got after unrar .
Please help
