Crossfire msi gaming m3 - pci 3.0 x16 and pci 3.0 x4 clarification

Got the msi z170a gaming motherboard that has pci 3.0 x16 and x4.

Is this enou or should I move to msi m5 that has pci 3.0 x8 and x8???

Is x16 and x4 good for crossfire????

It's better to have x8 for Crossfire, but x4 will function.
