Hello, I'm looking for just a rough estimate appraisal if I were to sell my desktop pc I built over the last year. I was once into gaming and this handled any game I threw at it with amazing results. I'm getting more and more into music production and the software I use is OS X based and my old Macbook just isn't cutting it any more. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well I plugged in about how much the parts costs if bought new and it was $1000. Of course it is used so you'll probably have to dwarf that 1000 all the way down to 750-550 range.

Another problem is buying it as a whole; no one will want every part in that system. Some one might not care that you have an SSD or a sound card, or they don't like the particular part you put in their and they will replace anyways.

If you want the maximum amount of cash, then you would have to individually sell it item. Selling each part on it's own means that really what the buyer wants meaning they will pay maximum dollar. Of course it a pain in the butt to sell 10+ parts but if you need every dollar going into your MAC :)screwy:) then you'll do it that way.

In conclusion I think if you sell it as a whole try for $650 and if you get no takers for a while just keep dropping it by $50.
