I am having some game lag and audio issues and before I spend any money I want to reinstall windows to see if it fixes the issues.
What I'd like to do is use DBAN (3 pass) to completely erase anything and use my windows 8.1 disk and code to install again. Will that work or will windows say something like, "this code has already been used" because if I use DBAN it won't have any files on the computer saying this is the previously installed hdd.
