Delidded 3570k and get the same temps

I used Coollabaratory Ultra paste between die and IHS and MX-4 between IHS and H80 water cooler. Temps are like 1-2 degrees lower than before. High 70s and low 80s. This is @4.4 GHz with 1.28 Vcore.

So either my TIM was great or I did something wrong... I mean everyone experiences great drops in temps. Any ideas?

I have seen great drops of better than 20c and also seen no improvement at all

False alarm. I reseated heatsink again and temps dropped by 15-17 degrees which is good. But I didn't gain a MHz to my overclock which is bad Still at the same 1.28 Vcore and 4.4.

I thought temps were holding me back but nope guess chip is not destined to great things
