I want to build my own computer for video editing and 3D animation. This is my first build and I’m not sure about the compatibility. I’ll appreciate all your suggestions. My budget is $1800-$2000 but If I could go under $1800 that would be great :)

I would get the K chip simply because it's already faster than the plain 4790, whether you plan to OC or not.

Just some food for thought, no one starts out experienced at anything. With the uefi bios and tons of information, getting a mild to moderate over clock is no longer difficult. Tons of guides and people willing to help.
