Do I need a new motherboard?

I got a basic HP computer a couple years back and basically added stuff to it so I could play high end games. It doesn't allow CPU overclocking and thats starting to kill me with the latest games such as the new quake demo. (I have a AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+). Do I need a new motherboard?

Go to www.cpuid.com and download clock gen. That should solve the overclocking problem.

I already am using that program. But it only increases the clock rate by about 200MHz.

New PSU

Maybe a new case

I have a 650watt psu, and the 8800gtx is halfway out the side of the computer , my computer has no problems with overheating. But you are probrably right with the new case part.
