Got a quick question that hopefully someone can answer really easy and quick. If I ever needed to RMA a Intel CPU to Intel for a faulty cpu, would I need the original cardboard box for the RMA with all the info on it?

Thanks

No.
I RMA'ed a 2.4C to Intel and all they asked for were the markings on the chip to verify it was within warranty. I'm sure towards the end of the 3 yr period (or 1 for a non-boxed one), a receipt would be required.

Ok, I was just talking with a friend of mine and he prety much said the same thing.

Ok so i see there is not box needed but I heard that you had to send the cpu with the stock HSF, can anyone confirm this?
