dual boot options, but not dual booting...

so i haven't run into so many problems building a new pc as i have with this current one... this one doesn't seem to be causing any problems, its just confusing.

I had windows 8 installed.
i changed mobo/cpu from amd fx-8120 to intel i7
i reinstalled windows 8 to my new ssd
now i have an option to boot in windows 7 or windows 8.

so since i haven't had windows 7 on my machine for a while this is kinda weird. i reformatted my harddrives when i upgraded from 7 so it shouldnt be there. and this option hasnt shown up until today when i reinstalled.

edit: i just tried to boot into windows 7 and it just brings me back to the choose between 7 and 8 option.

Use EasyBCD to delete the invalid Win7 entry from the BCD store...

cool, thanks... that was easy enough. all i could find on google was how to dual boot win 7 and 8.
