Dual monitors with onboard video help

I got 2 lg2360 23" monitors. My mobo has onboard video. I have my main monitor on hdmi and the second monitor on vga. When I hook the second monitor up to dvi it does not work.

Is it possible that my mobo wont let me use hdmi and dvi? ( 2digital signals). It works fine on hdmi and vga but would like to use hdmi and dvi.
