DVD's playing too fast?

I just recently burned some movies to dvd and when I play them with PowerDVD they seem to run really fast even at normal 1x speed.

hmm, does the entire movie (video and sound) run fast or just the video

Yeh both sound and video.

hmm.... do they go normal speed in a normal DVD player?

Same problem. My burnt dvds will play normally from computer and from integral dvd player in a tv, but every separate blu-ray or dvdplayer I use doubles the speed of both video and audio

Any advice?
