E8400 temp issue

hi guys i have tried a few programs to get the correct temp for my E8400 and they are all saying different?

real temp shows idle 46c and core temp is 56c then smart guardian for my mobo is 31c which would seem about right

not sure which is correct?

Nothing has nailed it 100% yet. It seems like the best thing we have going at the moment is RealTemp. I don't have a link for it right now, sorry.

yeh i even reckon that real temp is upto 10+ on the cores than it should be

Yeah, bummer. Even my E3110's temp cores are 6c off from eachother. During idle core0's temp is pegged

Really not much you can do other than just base your temps to others and depending on what cooling you have make an "assumption" which I know kinda sux

Unless intel comes up with a surefire 100% accurate temp reading, not much else can be done about it.

Its a great board as long as you dont screwup the flashing proceduer

flashed mine last night to the latest one.

it rebooted and started beeping like mad i s--t myself

then i remembered to clear cmos then all was ok (phew)

what happended with yours m8
