ECS GF8200A Motherboard won't boot SATA HD

Hi its my first time posting here so i hope someone can help me. Basically my motherboard ECS (Black edition) GF8200A won't boot my SATA hard drive. I already set it to SATA Mode instead of AHCI but it did not help. And my hard drive im booting is brand new so there is nothing on it. I am completely stuck and i have no idea what to do. I hope someone can help me with this.
