Error When Closing Internet Explorer

I freashly formated 3 days ago, Everything was working fine until yesterday when I installed AIM (Pesky AIM!)...
Since then, About 25% the time when closing internet explorer I get this error...

I searched google for the error number and nothing came up..

i saw this alot when i was using my old dell and the harddrive was dying. after i replaced the HD it was all ok. im not sure if it actually had to do with the HD or Windows needed a fresh install tho...

Couldn't find much about the error, but when searching on the MSKB, I found this:
MSKB #276393
It talks about many errors in IE, it could help you out a bit, hopefully. Have you tried reinstalling it??

That is not a solution.

Have you done any and all updates to IE via Microsoft Windows Update? If not, that might be a good place to start.

You could also try to repair IE from within Windows.

How 'bout AIM? Have you tried uninstalling it?

I would uninstall AIM and see if the problem persists.

Also, make sure you have all the service packs, hotfixes and patches installed for WinXP/IE. dunno if you already did that, but hey, we all forget sometimes
