Extended Desktop Display?

How do I enable extended desktop display in win XP? I just installed a 4" LCD Sreen on the side panel of my computer. When I go to my display settings it comes up as TV and not a monitor. So im getting the same image on my LCD Screen as on my actual monitor. My 9600 pro has an S-Video out and my LCD screen has a composite in, already have the s-video to rca adapter. Why does my video card pick it up as TV and not a second monitor? I've tried to enable the second monitor but it doesn't give me the option. Need some help thanks.

Right click on your desktop and go to properties. Then the settings tab. Now click on the monitor with the number 2 and then check extend my windows desktop onto this monitor.

In essence it is a TV, since it is hooked up to a Svideo connection
