I have a question for modify a computer fan cable.
I want to extend the cable, by cutting somewhere and adding cable between.

So my question is: What kind of cable? It must be thin not tick.. something i can get in local store or something.
You know the name of it?

Thanks for the link, but nope.. i do not want any of that.
I want to make my own.. i want to modify, add the length i want and so on.
All i wonder is, what kind of cable do i need? It has to be thin just like these on the site you provided.

For a 120mm fan you're going to want at the least 22 gauge wire. You can probably find it at a local hardware or electronics store. Digikey also sells it online.

Done one fan modding.. 4 to go... i testet the fan using my "diy" powersupply.. added positive to red cable.. there was yellow and blue.. and one seems grey or sort of colour..attacked that to negative.. turned volt up and fan spinning.
