*If this doesn't belong in the WCing section, my bad*

I have no problem with dust in my house, but when I'm at college in the dorm, the dust situation gets pretty intense. Dust clots inside my computer drives me nuts, so right now I'm using Aluminum fan filters (http://www.frozencpu.com/images/products/detail_hires/ffa-01.jpg) and they catch enormous amounts, but plenty still gets in.

I was wondering if anyone else has this problem and what do you do about it? I've looked at some different filters, and the FilterRight ones caught my eye (http://www.frozencpu.com/ffi-15.html). I like the removable mesh and it looks like it could catch smaller particles, but I have no idea how restrictive it is.

I've considered maybe using like a dryer sheet or maybe a furnace filter (???), not sure how those would work. Dont really know whats the best approach here, any suggestions?

I use dryer sheets and they seem to work Ok. It might be my perception, but it seems that the dust does not stick to the other stuff as much with these. That is not to mention that everything just smells so fresh.....

I use a cut up $0.69 blue furnace filter from Home Depot and a drier sheet behind it. The drier sheet has almost no dust in it. The furnace filter catches most of the dust. I also think the drier sheet would block more air than the furnance filter.

Go for a cheap fiberglass furnance filter cut to fit the hole.
