Hi there people im from the us and im trying to build a gaming computer but i'm a little nervous when looking for parts because i'm afraid not everything will be compatible. I will be playing mostly strategy and rpg. My budget is around $850-900 with a copy of windows 7. I will be keeping my old mouse, keyboard, speakers and monitor. My max resolution is 1440 by 900. I wont be overclocking and i plan on running CrossFire somewhere down the line. As of now im planing on ordering the parts within the next 2-3 weeks. If anyone can help me out i would greatly appreciate it. Thank You.

Looks fine to me...maybe grab a 7870 if you can squeez it in, but at 1440x900, it is completely optional.

Also, upgrade your monitor to 1920x1080 BEFORE you go Crossfire.

I would just confirm the Rosewill PSU is good. They are hit and miss... mostly miss. Corsair CX500 would be a solid choice.

I noticed your Western digital hhd ony has 16mb of cache. Why not get this instead

WD Blue $ 65.00 dollars.A 5 dollar price difference comparing your link. Also look at Amazon prices vs New Egg on all your parts.I would never buy any Hdd's from New Egg. Why ? There packaging sucks.Aamazon has frustration free packaging. This meas your hdd is suspended in the box.It will no move or get bounced around. You could drop kick that sucker.I suggest you don't. UPS will do that for you :)

For 20 dollars more WD BLK are better for gaming

I mean its a bit faster than a blue, sure, but not sure how it helps in gaming outside of slightly faster level loads...? It doesnt improve FPS.

I dont see why gaming HDD's get more abuse, but I do understand the warranty, thanks!

A ssd has no moving parts, but we all know hdd's have mechanical parts. When your gaming, your drive is working faster vs just surfing or basic tasks.Sure, ram will elevate some of these tasks, but what could be some of the results from a hdd working in this manner.

1. High temperatures that result in lowered magnetic properties, to the point where the surface of the platter can't store bits reliably anymore.

2. Internal contamination that either abrades the heads, scratches the platter surface, or otherwise causes interference between the heads and the platter surfaces. The internal contamination can result from flaking of the platter magnetic surface, seal failure and entry of contaminants from outside, or some other broken piece inside the drive.

3. Motor failure, such that the platters won't spin or are unable to maintain the proper RPM.

4. Bearing failure, such that the platters won't spin.

5. Head crash, where the head and platter touch while the platter is rotating, resulting in head abrasion, platter scratch, and internal contamination.

Thanks again. So its not gaming, its use in general. For some games, it loads to ram and very little use of the HDD except between levels... Some like mmo's can use a hard drive mote frequently. So to clarify, in specific games that assetion may be correct. Otherwise, personally, I wouldn't split hairs. About the only difference really is game load times to me.
