This is the first desktop Ive ever built and I have done some research and I think the components I have chosen will work for what I need them to do. I want to run games like SC2 on higher settings as well as run software such as Matlab. I also want this computer to last for a while so that I will not need to update it in the next 6 months to a year and still be able to handle most games and software without any problems. If you see something that would fit better than anything I picked out or that is cheaper because I am trying to stay within a budget of 700-850 please mention it. I appreciate the input in advance guys.

Also is there anything that Ive missed aside from the monitor, keyboard, and mouse? Again thanks guys this is my first build so Im trying to make sure everything is compatable.

I'd get a Corsair 600CX, it should be around the same price as that PSU after MIR. Reviews made it seem not like being crossloaded and not being above 40C, which together means it doesn't like being overly stressed at all.

If SC2 is the most intense game you're going to run, your best bet for a graphic card will be a GTX460 1GB from EVGA B-Stock for $110.

DDR3-1600 should only be $5-$10 more, it's the best price/performance spot.
