Flickering / jumping monitor.

I recently added another monitor to my SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 using one of the mini DPs and an active adapter. It flickers / jumps once in a while. The Monitor is a acer al1916. Using win10... can't think of any more relevant information.

Any ideas? I googled around but no luck.

Yeah for some reason that worked. Not sure why I didn't think about that, had it in my head that it would be incompatible for some reason.

Sounds like you have a port going bad then

But I swapped the monitors, and don't have flickering on the other monitor that's now in the port I had the issue with.

And the flickering monitor works on the other port as well?

Might have just been a loose connection then.
Either way, it's working now

I think it might have been a compatibility issue between the active converter and the older (2006) monitor. But anyway thanks for your help!

Me too, although only a $40 card so you get what you pay for.
