@ATMINSIDE, don't get mad :thup:

But I decided me getting the build to my brother within my means should be enough as long as he has a good base to upgrade from later. Soooo......I ordered him and my wife an 860K each and their builds are looking like this:

Wife:

Brother:

Then after wards I can move on to my build, which in all honesty, I might scale down to a 6300 since I'm just trying to hold off for Zen but not sure the 83XX series is calling me for a PC that will have a water loop...........

Supposedly tomorrow I will have my refund from Parvum, and my wife's case is being shipped out, got a tracking number. Can't wait to be done with this Fiasco. And still not sure if I'm going to use the case for her build or not, just kind of the principle of the the situation we shall see.

Got the refund as promised to my PPal :D

Will begin shopping for more goodies tonight..... wife is on board with an air cooled build so will make life easier, and I might just get an AIO for my build but I keep getting told I need water to push the FX 83XX series properly...........

Was hoping there was a high end Air Cooling solution for it.......

Maybe a 6300 is in order just to wait out Zen then

Off to the Dr.'s after a five hour drive to get up here :screwy:

Ok screw it I'm going to water cool my build. :D

I just bought ATM's FX-8350, so that settles the air vs water question lol.

Plus I already have some WC stuff on hand so........

Now to get the mobo, and keep hunting for a GPU...........

You should have a lot of fun with the Fx8350 and CHV board on water. Too bad you live in Fl or you could really take advantage of the water cooling like we do. See post #8863 :D

Ok so I got the FX chip and a Gigabyte F2A88X-UP4 from ATMINSIDE, I ordered the wife a Noctua NH-D14, yesterday ordered (2) 860K's for the wife and brother, sold my DDR4 I had on ebay, and the ASRock H81M-ITX and i3 4160 as well. I also picked up the 280X ASUS Matrix Platinum GPU here in the classies so now to decide which build it will go in.

So here is how the the build for the wife is looking, just need to find an ATX case she likes so I can get her a decent mobo and have fun OC'ing her rig too :)

What PSU would you guys recommend for hers? I have an EVGA 650 G2 at home that is way overkill for hers I think, and would probably be better in my brother's rig to save some $$....... Her build will be air cooled.

Here is where my brother's build is at:

This is set to be a birthday gift for him for this month, and he has no clue it's coming. Just need 60+fps in CSGO and the like to hook up to a flat screen 1080P TV via HDMI......

And lastly mine thus far:
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Evil-MOBO/saved/#view=Vz4frH

My rig will be going under water, need to decide on GPU, maybe keep the ASUS 280X for myself....? I still have the 750 Ti for the wife that I can run on air.........

I will be starting at 1080P most likely on a 4K flat screen that upscales, I really like the 43" Vizio for this and can run it in my man cave as a TV/PC screen..... so 1080p for me for now but high res later on as I see what Zen and the new GPU's bring.....

All input/advice/critique is welcomed :)

Thanks everyone for the help so far.......

Looked at some PC cases with the wife, she chose the NZXT S340 in white and I ordered it.

So her build basically looks like this now, just need to buy her a Windows OS and we are good:

I'm still debating selling her 750 Ti though and keeping the 280X for her build.......... can always get my brother something else......

Yeah she has good taste.

Now I can focus on a case for my build.........

Need something to hold two 360 rads.......

If I'm gonna go through the hassle rather more rad and be able to run fans low right.....? Or am I exaggerating this too much? Not sure on GPU yet but the CPU will be ATM's 5.6 8350....?
