I am looking at getting the 550w dual rail from new egg but it doesn't state if it comes with an adapter to fit a 20 pin mobo. Anyone here know if it does?

I tried to go to their web site to get some info about this psu and I noticed that the fortron web site is no longer valid:
http://www.fortron-source.com

In case they are no longer around I am also looking at this one as an alternative:

I forgot to mention here are the specs of my system: DFI Lanparty ultra 250, amd64 3400 NC cpu, 2x512mb pc4000 ram, geforce 6800 oc video with NV5 installed, 2 sata drives, 2 ide drives, dvdrw, pci ide raid card, multi card reader, floppy drive, 7 120mm blue led fans, 5 80mm blue led fans, 92mm 3600rpm cpu fan. I currently have a 500w aspire psu. I want to oc my system and that psu just doesn' do it.

I emailed their CA office and they replied and said the retail version does include the adapter but not the oem version.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. When I ordered mine, I didn't recieve an adapter unless the OEM version uses the same box or somehow my adapter was missing.... or maybe the guy just made a mistake.

I sent the same email to 2 different locations in CA and they both gave the same answer.

I decided to go ahead with the fortron 550 retail. I have a question about using the dual rails. Should I put just the cpu on one 12v rail and everything else on the other one?

I think I just answered that one over at Extremeoverclocking forums, but the CPU will probably go on the 12v2 rail - Fortron's are all set up that way IIRC.

Thanks for the info
