Fresh First Install of Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala

I personally like the rapid release. I like having the updates as quick as they are relatively stable. Especially when I see something new that gets included; like when ext4 came out. I'd like to see a DEB based distro with a nice rolling release and decent support.
I'll probably just put sabayon on my other machine though, because it's almost as close and I don't have to compile.

ext4 isn't a great example (or is, depending on how you look at it), when it first came out it had issues that lost data.

Ext4 is the balls. MS should scrap WinFS and just go with EXT4.

I hope Linux dumps EXT4 and everyone gets behind btrfs it will be technically better when its finished.

Ive been using it on and off for about a year, its certainly not suitable for a production box which is why I used stated when its finished. Unless you like new things and issues you simply should not be using it.

The kernel page mentions that its not suitable for any use other than review at this time.

Apple was supposed to move over to ZFS in both Leopard and Snow Leopard but they seem slow to let go of HFS+. Kind of like MS is with Fat32 and NTFS.
