FX-53 -> DDR2, PCI-E?

Will the FX-53 be able to support PCI-E or DDR2 memory later on down the line? If I buy one now and go DDR2 / PCI-E later, I'll have to buy a new processor, won't I?

You will be fine using PCI-Express with any current Athlon 64. You will need to purchase a new motherboard with PCI-Express.

DDR2 is another story, and you would need a new CPU and motherboard. You shouldn't worry about DDR2.
