I have the UD4 and couldn't figure out what the difference is between the boards. I have had no issues with the UD4.

ncix.com discontinued the UD4, don't know why...

Anyone know any alternatives maybe? The UD4P isn't shipping for 2 weeks.

Only difference I could find... (notice newegg.ca no longer lists the UD4 either tho newegg.com still does. Odd)

I think I am going to go with the Gigabyte MA790GP-UD4H. Unless anyone has something important to point out? Or a better suggestion?

i got the MA790X-UD4 from newegg for my brother

it is nice
ive just finnished setting it up
gonna do some bench testing the next few days
and a bit of overclocking

its a bit stiffer
which is nice since its a smaller board
and misses most of the third row of standoff screws
there is one though next to the dimms
which was a nice addition i thought
(i think this is a poss problem with these smaller board when installing ram and heatsinks
to much flex in the board without any support)

0 problems with the driver install
and everything works far as i can tell

bios is much simpler then the biostar boards
which may or may not be a good thing
def easier to navigate
and less confusing without multipal voltage settings for the same items
