That board looks nice with the heat pipe from southbridge chips. 6 RAM slots but color scheme seems to imply dual channel not tri-channel.

Getting ready to do some 3d air testing, here's a couple pics of the setup since I forgot to post them above.

Gee I wonder if they put enough stuff in the power regulation section. :screwy:

dean what fan is that on the HS? how hot does the P55 run with that sink they are using?

are the yellow ports usb 3.0?
No, the top yellow ports are firewire, the middle row is USB 2.0 and the bottom yellow ports are some cool combo ports for either USB 2.0 or eSATA

Wrong thread Evil, it's Jeremy

Looking forward to air results Jeremy! I was too lazy to rig a mount for the TRUE, so I just bent my WB mount a little and used that instead ;)

I messed a bit with the 870 in the UD6 last night. Got a 32M done at 4975 with all 4 cores (SS) and it locked when I opened the 3rd instance of CPU-Z for the screen :bang head I don't think the 870 is a crazy BCLK proc, I've yet to pass 245 in either board, but the SS isn't that cold. I am going to put the 860 on the SS in the UD6 today and try a little more Vc than I did in the UD4. Hopefully it does a little better BCLK. Maybe DI tomorrow on whichever proc I deem more worthy :)

I know...and I am thinking about starting another one LOL. Maybe I'll do a UD6+860 next to Dean's UD6+870 in the CPU section. 860 = liking the UD6 a lot so far

this will be interesting, i just cant wait for my LGA1156 stuff to get here... any bets on what will oc higher,P55M-UD2 or UD4 or P55M PRO?

When you guys see me throw up a bunch of benchmark scores at 3200mhz in a little bit, don't think anything of it. I'm posting this on several different forums, to trying to tailor it to all of them at once

I'm gonna say the UD4. Did you order all 3? :screwy:

wait what makes you think i ordered all three... damn i need to stop posting, im giving away stuff already... lol

*edit*
just dont ask what cpu i got, but then i think i already gave that away somewhere... o_O

Leaving this here to save room on the first page for the big scores.

sno, brotha, do you have a batch # on the 750 es?

my 750: L925B549

although i don't have a board yet, i'm a VERY firm believer that the earlier you are in the production cycle, the better.

as soon as my board comes out, i'll be rolling.
