Which RAM to buy for 2700x and B450 Tomahawk MSI ?
this list is very old and not for ryzen 2 right?

Look at the memory support list for your motherboard.

I'd stick with something around 3200 mhz.

this ram will stuck at default 2133 clocks

but this is only 8 GB single rank ram and does not match perfectly 8FE

New Ballistix 3200 CL16-18-18 are based on Micron. It's inexpensive and well performing memory which should work on all motherboards.

Check if product number is on QVL of your motherboard but I guess that shouldn't be a problem on all of them.
