I Hope someone can help. I just purchased a new Asus GT710 with GDDR5 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073GF2CL6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to replace a bad GT610 with DDR 3 https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GeF...id=1509299901&sr=8-2&keywords=gigabyte+gt+610 and cannot get my computer to boot up past the start up screen. It says press esc to enter the start up menu but nothing happens. I am running windows 10 pro of that helps. I was told they are compatible.

What power supply is that pc running? Have you tried reseating the new video card?

350 Watt PS. It is an older HP pavilion and yes I have tried that several times. It just will not boot up past that start up screen. Thanks for the reply.

Have you tried completely uninstalling the display adapter drivers and installing current drivers?
