No... it really does work. The increased airflow caused by the reversing currents (this is a phenomenon caused when you stack fans like that) create an ultra low pressure zone at the rad.

In that area the temp can reach -20 to -40 degrees C

Having had the time to watch it all it really made me lol. Pity this is the only funny thing ive seen him do in a while. Hes had a habit of ranting at his own fans as of late and has gone from my favorite reviewer rapidly to my least. Recently he ranted at someone on youtube for being an idiot because they said using dye in your loop was silly/lead to clogs ( he, Tinytom/the reviewer claimed dyes didnt clog /contribute wtsoever, and it was infact algae that clogged), then another time he simply posted a pic of a case + noctua fans and said "thoughts" ( or something similar ) and then proceeded to badmouth everyone who said well they look rubbish. He had neglected to mention it was a benching rig that was going to have a loop in it so the fans were for max performance on pretty high fpi rads.



its just a pity hes a pretty knowledgeable bloke and his reviews are usually top notch.
