Hard drive done for good??

Hi guys,

I have an laptop and when i turn it on the hard drive makes a vibrating/clicking/ticking kind of noise and it wont load the OS. is there any hope for it or is it gone for good?

nah, it was used for internet research and folding and the only thing on it was the OS(OSX)
oh well...hey i can use this as an excuse to upgrade
