I'm thinking of putting a Geforce Titan into my micro-ATX case. I'd like to provide decent cooling for it (not a stock cooler), but due to the limited space it may be hard to find room for a big heatsink + fan. I want proper cooling for vid-rams and VRMs too. With these considerations, water-cooling the Titan seems to be a plausible option.

But my case allows just one 92mm radiator, and I was able to find one such product, Hardware Labs Black Ice GTX m92:

http://www.hwlabs.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=21&Itemid=2

According to an old posting,

http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1510538

This radiator can handle up to 200W of heat, which is not enough for a Titan whose TDP is announced to be 250W. But then another old posting,

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showthread.php?225268-Testing-the-HW-Labs-Micro-184-GTX-Rad

tells that GTX m184 radiator with 400W heat-dissipation can easily cool QX9650 CPU (130W) + N/B and S/B chipsets + GTX 295 GPU (289W) even under the full load.

So if m184 can handle more than 420W from a big CPU and an even bigger GPU, can m92 be enough to cool just one GPU of 250W TDP?

If it's not enough, is there a better 92mm radiator that can do the job? Or any better graphic card cooling solution for a small case?

Any comment/advice from a real experience with m92, or an educated guess from expertise would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Sure that rad will work. With 5000 RPM fans, 38mm thick, and they don't come with ear protection.

Your links are bad except for the middle one, sorry, fix them so I can really look.

I corrected the links.

It seems that everyone everywhere recommends either going for a bigger case and a proper radiator or simply staying with a stock cooler.

There might be way of doing this, but that depends on you! You could use a Radiator stand and connect it to your card. That way you would not be restricted by size or space. Can not post right now as i am in my car. AJ.

With this you can mount a 360 Rad anywhere you like and just attach the GPU to it!

Thanks for risking your life to help me!

And more thanks for sharing your expertise. But my case is rather small and once every component is installed, there's not enough room even for a 120 rad, let alone a 360 one. (A Titan will barely fit in.) Since this new case is one of the big reasons why I'm building a new system, I'll have to find a way that would work with it. Installing a big rad outside of the case is not desirable either, because it ruins the concept of the new build; aesthetics!

Yea... If you bareley have room for a 92mm rad I dont see how you could fit a titan in there. What case is this?

My case has a clearance of about 260mm for a graphic card, whereas a Titan is 267mm long. But out of this 267mm, several mm's would not count once installed in the case, so it'll fit. (I haven't bought it yet. If, after I make a purchase, it turns out not to fit, I'll cut out a slit from the case.)

From the looks of it all, I see you're trying to cosmetically build a small rig with lots of power inside + H20 cooling. That's a tough assignment and you'll have to look around as there are a few small cases that get away with it all. I know you don't want to grip someone else's ideas and want to do your own but I would look around and see which cases worked best and do the same. Just change the color theme to what is already used. You're making it harder on yourself by forcing something that almost impossible. You want to use that case but can't fit a 120mm rad and barely a Titan. How about the cable management than? And than tubing, pumps, fittings? Don't waste your time, money and energy on something pretty impossible unless you want to hang things outside or mod the hell out of the case.
