Hello OC Forum Sound Gurus,
I'm building a high-end Gaming Box to replace my current rig that is 3 years old. I'm trying to decide on a new sound card. I spend as much time gaming as I do listening to music. I usually have it cranked up LOUD!
My current setup I'm running Logitech Z5500 5.1 speakers and a SB X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty PCI version sound card.
Right now I'm looking at the following 3 cards unless there is another I should be looking at:
ASUS Xonar Essence STX
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty
Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty
This card is going to be going into an ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe motherboard.
Any experiences you have had with these cards would be greatly appreciated.
