A USB drive would work fine with 98... atleast thats what I had thought.

Also, floppy diskettes can carry viruses as well as a USB drive can.... You don't need 128 mbs of memory to carry a virus, 1.44 will do fine if thats what you want to do. :) So whoever has a problem with a ramdrive for that reason is just silly... If they want to worry about something they should be worried about pirateing files. That's a more realistic risk.

yeah I found my old PII and I took the floppy out of that. Haven't been able to see if it works yet but I'll do that sometime. My school is in the ghetto and we have some really messed up internet filter called Bess that blocks more educational sites than porn sites. It also blocks most all forms of online e-mail. Although I guess I could keep burning a cd with hw. The USB thing doesn't work either because all the computers here don't have XP. Most actually have '98. haha about the terrorist comment it doesn't help that I'm indian. Anywho, thanx to everyone for their help.

My high school had Bess, but I killed that damn dog. It wasn't hard, but I don't they the mods would like me posting how to do it.
