help, weird problem

The incident goes as follows, my brother spilled something into the center of his keybord. He quickly shut down the computer and unpluged the keybord to wash it. He washes and drys the keyboard, plugs it into his computer and pushes the power button. The power light turns on, the fans spin up, cd drive spins up, but no video, black screen, no beep code, and no hard drive activity. He tryed using a diffarent keyboard, but same result. Any help is appreciated.
