Sorry for being rude, but did you even read the link in my post? It tells you exactly how to do it.

As long as you are an administrator, take ownership of the folder (applying to all subfolders and files), then reset permissions.

I don't know, what did you do? You aren't being clear. I can't help if you can't explain what is/isn't happening. I'm not even sure what you've done at this point other than try to run some registry change that isn't related at all.

Explain clearly and exactly what you've tried. If it fails, clearly explain how it didn't work. Include error messages, screenshots, etc. Saying "it didn't work" means nothing.

Now I have access to the drive again, but I've turned on BitLocker and encrypted the drive. Do you know how to disable Bitlocker?
