Hi & thank you for you response,

if there's any chance you could elaborate?

i don't fully know where or what...

sorry

Look at the 3rd pic you posted. See the options FSB/DRAM Ratio and Adjusted DRAM Frequency (Mhz)? Change the FSB/DRAM Ratio option to [1:4.66], or the closest option available that results in 1866.

On your third BIOS screen shot you'll see FSB/DRam ratio. You should be able to select that option and change it. The number under neath will show you the frequency.
Looks like I got :sn: ed

Ok so i check, if i set it to the ratio 1:4 then it goes to 1600, nothing higher...

also all other voltages are on auto exept for vcore and nb voltages.

That board will only run it faster if you raise the HT ref clock. So unless you're comfortable redoing your whole OC, this time raising the FSB. Plus your CPU only officially supports 1333 memory as well. You may want to just set the timings for 1600 and see how well it works. This may still cause instability. If so there are some remedies to try.

Use CPU-z spd tab it'll show you the timing for that ram. Write them down, You can access the timing adjustments from the same BIOS screen under advanced Dram configuration.

You can do a Prime95 blend test for overall system stability. Just keep an eye on your temps. Don't go over 60 on the core and 70 on the socket. Also there is memtest86 will just check the memory

Hi guys,

Firstly thanks for the prompt feedback as to what i should be looking for and doing.

So to recap,

I have now set:

1: Dram voltage to 1.65 (as specified by the memory and XMP profiles.)
2: FSB/DRam ratio to 1:4 = 1600mHZ
3: Set timings to 9-9-9-27 (as specified by the memory and XMP profiles.)
4: T2 - T1

So far so good, been running some benchmarks and some games... all seems fine.

now... if i go for 1866, i have to reclock my cpu by means of multi and clock.... maybe tomorrow :) ill give it a test but ive been stable on 4.2 for ages now just with a multi oc on the cpu and some NB and HT tweek.

So ill stick with 1600 for now....

so timings... how low can one go?

also is this a good score?

Just leave the DRAM timings alone for the time being, and instead concentrate on raising the FSB while still on the 1:4 FSB : DRAM ratio.

ye but that gonna be a pain... hmmm ok will jam like this to nyt then tomorrow... or maybe later ill redo my OC on the cpu...

thanks man.

How is that going to be a pain?

you ment change the FSB of the CPU right?... cause curently it 200X21.5 i think...

i dont want to do that now... i know im stable... ill try later or tomorrow to play with FSB on CPU if that what u ment...

regards
