HLDS discontinue? steam command?

i keep getting "update server" in HLDS for the TS server i run.

i also saw steam updating the content on half life and teh changes i saw made were the removal of D3D, HD models, and they also changed some of the looks in the options. forunately sven co-op still work but The Specialists acts funky.

at this point im thinking that TS is now dead and no longer working.

i also spoke to some people in a sven server and they told me that valve is dropping HLDS support and is pushing in Steamcommand. and i hate steam command. its too complicated and is not as simple as HLDS.

i would rather have a GUI to work with instead of a console. at least both available (just as -gui or -command in shortcut).

is there any way i can get ts working? or is it perm dead?
