Okay so:

4GB Crucial Ballistix (4x1GB)
500GB WD HDD
GeForce 9800GTX @ 763/1200
Intel E7200 3MB Cache @ 4.0ghz

14,707

in Vantage it was 7,8xx (dont remember) and the CPU score was 28K.

Thanks!

Ill test my q6600/9800gtx setup tonight and we can compare... your scores look good though.

It looks like you have the exact same XFX 9800 GTX that i just got. You should post up your GPU score so we can see hoe close they are.

Also... you should run Aquamark 3 on that bad boy just for fun. I got like 160,000 but with that CPU at 4.0Ghz you could prolly get around 200,000. Its just fun to watch it fly through that thing, especially when i remember that my first computer got like a 7,000 and took hella long to run.

Sorry, that was me ^. I have two accounts because when I first joined the fourms I forgot I made one, so I made another one. Shmutheprophet is the name I use for most things so I log into that one by accident quite a bit.

3dmark06:

SM2.0: 6835
SM3.0: 6427
CPU: 3588

I think your 9800GTX should get about 16,000 with your OC.My old 8800GTS 512mb got 15,543 and i know the 9800GTX is faster and with your OC that should be easy(do a fresh boot before running it)My score of 19177 was in SLI.In link below

That link doesnt work for me, I think it only shows the account thats logged in. Did you use a quad-core when you got 15,543? Im on a dual-core :\. Maybe thats why. Could it be anything else?

Dang my 9800GTX isnt stable passed 763/1200. But if I had it at 820 it prolly would be about 7278 / 7020. I think the reason mines lower is cause everyone who is using a quad core is almost doubling my CPU score.

ya i was surprised when it kept going up and up, i wasn't sure what to expect with the new card but happy with it now that i know what the average over clock is. i plan to volt mod it down the road, once i get a better cooler or water block and a 500 ohm resister. i would really like to hit 18-18500 but i think i will have to wait for winter and then i can really overclock.

Hey,

Just for reference.. my E8400 is running at 4GHZ. I ran with ONE of my 8800GTX cards. Clocks are 640/1485/1020:

3DMark06 - 13,338
SM2.0 - 5,750
HDR SM3.0 - 5846
CPU - 3674

My E8500 @ 4ghz and stock 3870x2 ran 17,250.

My Q6700 @ 3.6ghz and stock HD4870 pulls 17,600.

My QX9650 @ 4ghz ran an 18,611 with stock hd4870.

For a dualcore that score isn't bad.

Ok i finally got around to running 3dmark 06 I ran with both CPU and GPU not OC'ed at all and got:

12001 3dMarks
SMD2.0 Score - 4950
HDR/SM3.0 Score - 5357
CPU score - 3457

I guess that's about right considering all you guys are running overclocked craziness.

This is all stock.

Yeah I am seriously considering swapping my 9800GTX for a GX2, just need to make sure it will fit. That should boost me up to like 18-19k. Thats not why I'm buying it though. Im gonna get a 1920x1200 monitor, and the GX2 gonna be much better for that :p.

I'm happy with my 9800gtx... it plays crysis on very high at 1680x1050, i don't know what i would need a better GPU for...
