How to make these 3 work together? AMD64 X2 6000+, Abit KN9-SLI, DDR2 OCZ Platinum

I cant configure the Athlon 6000+ to work right with the DDR2 Memory at 800mhz with the right timings (4-4-4-12). Any clue of why?

How should I correctly set them to work perfectly.
I need the processor to work a 3000Mhz, but the memory also at 800Mhz with 4-4-4-12 timings (or maybe its imposible and It can only work a 750Mhz... but how to set timings?)

maybe someone can help.
thanks.

Well first you need to get your setting to 1T. I suggest going into bios and messing with the divider to see if you can get it to cooperate. Also check to see if you need a more updated bios from there site.

he means you Command Rate btw. It can be 1T or 2T. Its set to 2T which improves stability but reduces bandwidth. Switch it to 1T if you can.

Anyway, i would say first up check if the ram voltage is high enough.

If he can't get 2T stable what makes you all think he can run 1T. I've found that above 600 most DDR2 will not run 1T. It may be to RAM, MOBO or Controller.

DDR2 has a DQS setting that you should run when you change ram, change the setting (400/533/667/800) or reset BIOS). Normally this is set to not run but set DQS to enabled or run. When the machine reboots you may see it report the DMI status which at that point it should set itself back to disabled as it only needs to setup once per change.
Other options are a BIOS flash as boards are tweaked from time to time for new ram and newer steppings.
Another option is to run CL5 and overclock the ram by dropping the cpu multi by 1X and running the HTT up to 216. This will run the CPU at 3024 and the ram at DDR2-864 (216x4).
Also look for the HT multi (1X-5X) may be called K8-NB Link or LDT. Set this to 4X.
