Sundezl, welcome to OCF.
The a4-6300 as far as I can tell has a locked multiplier. So all overclocking would have to be done by the bus and will be limited by the IGP. This also will depend on your motherboard. What board are you using and CPU cooler.

Sundezl, welcome to OCF.
The a4-6300 as far as I can tell has a locked multiplier. So all overclocking would have to be done by the bus and will be limited by the IGP. This also will depend on your motherboard. What board are you using and CPU cooler.

When overclocking you need to add voltage, when doing so it raises the temperature of the Cpu/Apu which you will need to dissipate with an aftermarket heatsink. That said it's a moot point because even if you could OC that Apu I wouldn't even try it on that motherboard.

Turbo is only active in certain circumstances and it's all automatic. CPU cooler is the fan and heatsink that sin on the CPU to help keep it cool. Most likely yours is stock. Before you overclock you might want to run a Prime 95 test and monitor your temps with AMD overdrive.

+1 on the motherboard. It's just not suited to overclocking at all.

I'm looking at CPU-Z and it says My max bandwidth for Memory Slot #2 is PC3-12800 (800 MHz). Isn't this supposed to run at 1600 MHz?

That is 1600 MHz ram DDR is double data rate so 800x2

If it works yes, though you may have to use the motherboard Bios to raise the Gpu clock speed.

Is there a guide for that? And should I do it in small increments? GPU is an AMD Radeon HD8370D. I don't think I can control the fan speed on the GPU
