nvidia even has its own overclocking program that adds to the nvidia control panell that should work with that card also. Lot more simple than riva.
 
That Nvidia program is "coolbits". What brand is it? I like EVGA's percision, simple and easy to use and is a much smaller program than Riva Tuner. All 3 are good and if you don't have an EVGA I'd get Riva Tuner. My 6800GS was an OC beast. Memory went to 1300Mhz and I think the core was stable around 625Mhz for daily gaming and 680Mhz for suicide runs. That was on the stock EVGA cooler, mine had a huge single slot copper heatsink over the GPU and an aluminum heatsink w/heatpipe over the mosfets with a shroud so the fan could pull over both. And like always, if you're a beginner, be careful. It's easy to cook a card. And there's no going back. Once it's gone, it's gone. Just check out some GPU overclocking tutorials if you're just starting out, most are a quick read and provide information you'll want to learn now, instead of later.
