Hp 18fc

According to Cpu-Z I have a Hp 18fc which I believe is a walmart laptop. It has a socket 1023 w/Celeron 877 @1.4Gh dual core cpu. It is running 1 4Gb stick of ram 1333'ish Mhz. I know about alli can do is put in a SSD and ram.

Sorry I lost the bottom half of my question.

So...about all I can do is a ssd and 2x ram modules is that correct? Anybody else have any upgrade/speed boosting ideas?

Before investing any money in a Celeron CPU computer, look at where your bottle neck is. I've seen that on low end systems like this, the bottle neck is the CPU so RAM and SSD are of little help. Now I have had luck with Core i3's and slower AMD's but the Celeron's and equivalent AMD's are not worth the upgrade. Check your task manager before spending real money.
