System would not even post... Digging through everything I find this. I assume they're both toast, literally... The melted spot on the socket matches the burnt spot on the cpu... Besides the numerous bent pins...View attachment 211518

Thanks, they're not working on my sides for some reason. My daughter bought a system from a kid and didn't confirm it was working first. We're working on getting them to take it back. I just wanted a second opinion. Thanks!

Man, that's a bummer. If it was just a couple pins I'd say try and fix it but that's a lot of bent/broken pins. Add in the burnt CPU pad and there was clearly neglect on the sellers end. Best of luck getting her money back.
