Hello RAM Guru's,
Current setup is a AMD 1090T AM3 Hex Core CPU, Mobo is a Gigabyte 890 FXA-UD5 with 8gb of
G.Skill RIPJAW series:
DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666)
Timing 7-7-7-21
Cas Latency 7
Voltage 1.5V
Mobo can take these type of RAM: DDR3 2000(O.C.)/1866/1600/1333/1066
Current RAM is not modified
I had 16gb but two sticks are faulty and wont let the PC boot to windows. I am looking to upgrade all four stick but to what?
I was think of the G.SKILL RipJaw 8gb 2x4gb
DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Cas Latency: 9
Timing 9-9-9-24-2N
as Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V
ECC: No
Unbuffered
I would get four new stick to replace all my RAM, not going to combine the different ram.
WHat are your thoughts? Should I stick with a CAS of 7 I had the system OC'ed to 4.1 stable but went back to stock clock. I might OC it once again.
Thanks
Sevan
