Hey guys, my first post :D

I'm very new to custom PC's, so I apologize in advance for any stupid questions :ty:

I'm running an Antec Kulher 920, venting out the rear of my NZXT H2 case. I currently have a 140mm XIGMATEK XLF-F1455 (1000rpm, 63.5CFM, 16db) fan mounted at the top, rear of the, as an intake. This is basically helping feed fresh air into the intake path of the Kulher's intake fan.

Two questions:

1) I want to upgrade this intake fan to something more powerful, but not something extremely loud. What do you guys suggest?

I am looking at these three fans:

2) I would like to, if possible, tie in the fan speed/control of whatever fan I choose to the fans of the Kuhler. Possible? Can I by a spliter, connect it to fan power wire coming out of the Kuhler and be able to run both the stock Kulher fans along with the additional fan?

Thanks guys! This custom PC stuff is getting very addictive, just like anything else I get into!

Instead perhaps grab two of these and throw them onto your Antec Kuhler 920? =D.

As for your original question. I don't see any huge performance increase to changing that fan over your current.. If there is a change; you're looking at <1 degree. I wouldn't waste your money for that 140mm

I don't see what's so special about those Typhoons

I think the stock Antec fans are higher CFM and RPM than those.

They're probably also noisier.. And the gentle typhoons should have a better static pressure; required for radiator cooling.

They are definitely a little noisy. The noise level they put our right now is OK with me, anything higher and I would have a problem with it.

Still trying to find the exact specs of the stock Antec fans... Anyone have a link?

Lol, don't run the Delta's I am if you can't handle loud. Though for good cooling for the noise level definitely look at the Gentle Typhoons Mjolnir recommended.
