Hi.
I'm new in this forum, because i want to clock cpu, ram and gpu if possible.

My set:

Intel Q9450 2.66GHZ
ASUS Maximus Extreme
2 x Kingston 1gb ddr3 ram

The asus maximum extreme motherboard have this extreme tweeker in the bios, wich is the place to set the clock configurations.

I just dont know how to set the voltage on the cpu, northbrigde etc..

I can clock my cpu to 3.5GHZ widthout makeing a change to the voltage, but when it get's higher than 3.5GHZ the computer wont start, so i guess i need to increase the voltage on the cpu ? :D

The problem is, that i dont know what the default voltage is, and when the voltage is to much.

Hope someone can help me on this.

... and as far as finding out what the default Vcore of your quad is, you'll need to check with a program like RealTemp--> "Settings" page--> Max VID (the Max VID as shown by RealTemp is the default Vcore). And Intel recommends no more than 1.3625 Vcore (Vcc), w/ an absolute maximum Vcc spec. of 1.45
